Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has rejected a huge offer from Saudi Arabia, reported Spanish newspaper Diario AS on Saturday.

The 63-year-old refused a big-money offer from the Arab country as his mind is only focused on succeeding with the Los Blancos.

Ancelotti has been heavily linked with the Brazil national team’s job over the past few days. While the Italian has repeatedly stated that he wants to fulfil his contract with Madrid — which will end in 2024 — the Brazilian federation is not giving up on the hope of landing the 63-year-old to Rio de Janeiro this year.

It has gotten to the point that Ancelotti is now getting tired of repeatedly listening to the questions about Brazil’s job in press conferences.

During a press conference before the start of Madrid’s pre-season in the USA, the subject once again emerged but the Italian quickly shut it down.

“We got this out of the way on the first day. We closed it. I’m Real Madrid coach, I’m not going to talk about this matter anymore. I have a contract until June 2024,” he stated.

Ancelotti joined Madrid in 2021 entering his second stint at the Spanish club after he was sacked in 2015 following a trophyless season.

The Italian did an impressive job in his first season by guiding the Los Blancos to La Liga and the UEFA Champions League (UCL) title win.

Ancelotti coached Madrid’s team who, arguably, had the greatest run in the UCL history.

Madrid faced Paris Saint Germain (PSG) in the round of 16, Chelsea in the quarter-final, Manchester City in the semi-final and then Liverpool in the final.

The Whites won each of the ties, except the final, after completing a comeback and left the world shocked with their never give up mentality.

Last season wasn’t Madrid’s best as they failed to win La Liga and the UCL. However, they did manage to win the Copa del Rey for the first time since 2014, FIFA Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup.

During his first stint with Madrid in the 2013-14 season, Carlo helped Madrid end their 12-year UCL drought as they won the historic final against Atletico Madrid in Lisbon, courtesy of Sergio Ramos’ famous last-minute header goal in 92nd minute of the game.
